Bone is constantly rejuvenating through a balanced equilibrium of bone resorption and new bone formation. For an implant to integrate with the bone in our body, this process of bone resorption and new bone formation has to take place. The process of dental implants successfully integrating within our jaw bone is known as osseointegration.
Concentrated growth factor therapy can greatly accelerate the osseointegration process and there are new studies that found that it enhances implant stability in the critical early recovery period (first 6 weeks).
